Our Name Has Changed!

Watford Credit Union has changed its name to South Herts Credit Union. We are still the same credit union, with the same great service and values.

We want to be able to serve more people in the area, in particular to include all those living in the Hertsmere area. So, as well as the name change, we have expanded our common bond to include the whole of the county of Hertfordshire. This means that anyone who lives or works in the county can now join us.

We are still based in Watford, our office is still at 59 Clarendon Road, Watford, WD17 1LA and our phone number is still 01923 236401. Our bank account sort code and account number are unchanged (as shown on the right) but the account name is now South Herts Credit Union Ltd.

Our email address has changed to: info@SouthHertsCreditUnion.co.uk but the old addresses will be forwarded to the new ones for a while yet and so should still reach us.

We still offer :

• an ethically based investment policy
• great value loans (examples)
• free life insurance on savings and loans (conditions apply)

You can join if you live or work in the county of Hertfordshire.

Monetary limits

The maximum savings you can have in South Herts Credit Union is £15,000. A member can apply for a loan of up to 3 times savings after 13 weeks membership, the first loan is limited to £5,000, the maximum loan is £10,000.

Volunteers

To help us provide an even better service to members, we need more volunteers. If you are able to commit a few hours on a regular basis please have a look at the volunteer page. If you have been helped by South Herts Credit Union, why not give some time to help others?

Please do not post duplicate share withdrawals. Whenever possible, plan ahead and make one larger withdrawal rather than several small ones.
